Voluntary Group Accident Insurance Overview
No one plans for an accident. 1 out of 8 Americans seeks medical attention for non-fatal injuries each year. Many people seek initial treatment in emergency rooms and urgent care centers, where out-of-pocket expense is the greatest. Accident coverage provides a range of fixed, lump-sum benefits for injuries resulting from a covered accident, or for accidental death and dismemberment. These benefits are paid directly to the insured and may be used for any reason, from deductibles and prescriptions to transportation and child care. Voluntary Hospital Indemnity Insurance Overview
Hospital Insurance helps covered employees and their families cope with the financial impacts of a hospitalization. You can receive benefits when you’re admitted to the hospital for a covered accident, illness, or childbirth.
The money is paid directly to you – not to a hospital or care provider. The money can also help you pay the out-of-pocket expenses your medical plan may not cover, such as co-insurance, co-pays, and deductibles. The benefits in this plan are compatible with a Health Savings Account (HSA).

Voluntary Critical Illness
Voluntary Critical Illness Insurance can pay money directly to you when you’re diagnosed with certain serious illnesses. If you are diagnosed with a covered illness, you can receive a lump sum benefit payment. You can use the money however you want. It can be used to help you pay your medical out‐of‐pocket costs, or you can use it to pay for non‐medical items as well. The money is there for you to help you during a difficult time. This coverage can be used more than once. Even afer you receive a payout for one illness, you’re still covered for the remaining conditons and for the reoccurrence of any critcal illness with the exception of skin cancer. The reoccurrence benefit can pay 100% of your coverage amount. Diagnoses must be at least 180 days apart or the conditons can’t be related to each other.
Rates are based on age. The cost is conveniently deducted from your paycheck. The benefits in this plan are compatible with a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Who is eligible? You, Your Spouse, Your Children (Dependent children newborn to age 26,regardless of marital or student status). Employee must purchase coverage in order to purchase spouse coverage. Choose $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 of coverage with no medical underwriting to qualify if you apply during this enrollment. Spouses can only get 50% of the employee coverage amount as long as you have purchased coverage for yourself. Children from birth to age 26 are automatically covered at no extra cost. Their coverage amount is 50% of your election.
